This is an old watercolour of my daughter sat in a field of buttercups. She moved to her own place yesterday so this one seemed apt.
Today it is a Turtle, two of them really. The original drawing and then after I have played about with it.
A copper Dragon, I do like painting dragons, this one is in watercolour and ink.
A sunflower in pencil. The slugs have eaten all mine so this might be the nearest I get to one this year.
A much simpler one today, waterlilies in acrylic
Today it is a Cornish hedgerow, forever changing and always fascinating.
This is Port Loe a little fishing village on the South coast of Cornwall
This is Celeste, one of my folds paintings. The folds started as doodles and grew from a fascination of the shadows and highlights caused by the twists and turns.
A cornfield full of wildflowers. Sadly we don’t see these anymore, wheat or barley intermingled with poppies, cornflowers and buttercups.
Day 1 Kingfisher
Just for fun to fill the gaps between episodes of the Mouse story a hundred days of art, a different picture everyday.
